The Higher Education Commission (HEC) is pleased to announce the Allama Iqbal Scholarships 2022 under the Pak-Sri Lanka Higher Education Cooperation Program. Sice five-year Allama Iqbal Scholarships provide an opportunity for 1000 Sri Lankan students to visit Pakistan and pursue Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and doctoral degree programs in engineering sciences, basic and natural sciences, and social sciences. The purpose of this scholarship is to promote an effective exchange of knowledge and a better understanding of cultures and traditions between Sri Lankan and Pakistani students. Selected candidates will study at top Pakistani universities, learn about Pakistani society and values, gain leadership skills, and help fellow Pakistani students and community groups learn about their country and culture. Will Allama Iqbal Scholarships are part of HEC’s initiative to encourage international students to study in Pakistan. Female candidates can also apply for these scholarships.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
| Medicine | GCE A’ Levels / equivalent examination (Pre-Medical) with at least 65% Marks. |
| Engineering | GCE A’ Levels / equivalent examination (Pre-Engineering) with at least 65% Marks. |
| Bachelor Degree Program | GCE A’ Levels / equivalent examination in required subjects with at least 60% Marks. |
| Master Degree Programs | 16 years of education in relevant subjects with 60% marks at the graduate level |
| Doctoral Degree Programs | 18 years of education in relevant subject with CGPA 3.00/4.00 at Master’s level. A research thesis at a Master Degree is also required. |
Terms and Conditions:
- Only Sri Lankan citizens are eligible for the scholarship award. Dual nationals are not eligible.
- The Max age limit for Undergraduate programs is 17-22 years and the maximum age limit for graduate and doctoral programs is 35 years.
- The candidate should have attained the required qualification on or before the last date of submission of the application.
- The candidate will be required to serve Sri Lanka after completing his education in Pakistan.
- After a physical examination of the documents provided by the applicant, the selection will be made on the basis of pure merit.
- The placement of students will be at the sole discretion of HEC.
- The medium of instruction will be English.
- The merit list will be prepared based on the information provided by the applicant. In case of any wrong Information, the scholarship will be terminated at any stage.

Guideline on how to Apply For HEC Allama Iqbal Scholarships 2022 for BS, MS, Ph.D. Fully Funded:
- The online application form will be filled out at https://scholarship.hec.gov.pk/.
- All the registered candidates participated in the scholarship test organized by HEC in collaboration with the Pakistan High Commission in Colombo and the Ministry of Higher Education of Sri Lanka.
- The shortlisted candidates will appear in an interview at the Pakistan High Commission in Colombo in collaboration with the Sri Lankan Ministry of Higher Education.
